WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hand Pumps)

At Sameem Orphan-Care Foundation, we believe that access to clean water and proper sanitation is essential for a healthy and dignified life. Unfortunately, many underserved communities in Pakistan still lack safe drinking water, exposing them to waterborne diseases and daily hardship. Our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Program is designed to address this critical need by providing sustainable water solutions to vulnerable families.

Through this initiative, SOC Pakistan installs hand pumps and water facilities in water-scarce areas, ensuring reliable access to clean and safe drinking water. These hand pumps not only reduce the burden on women and children who often travel long distances to fetch water but also significantly improve community health and hygiene.

In addition to infrastructure, we promote hygiene awareness, educating communities about safe water usage, sanitation practices, and disease prevention. Our goal is to create long-term behavioral change that leads to healthier and more resilient communities.

Each hand pump installed serves multiple families, making it a highly impactful and sustainable intervention. It transforms lives by reducing illness, saving time, and restoring dignity.

Support our WASH Program—because clean water is not a privilege, it is a basic human right.
